Pastor R. Carter Pearce

Pastor Carter Pearce grew up in a missionary family. His father, Roger Pearce, served as a BMA missionary to Tacoma, WA and Columbia, TN. Carter graduated from Russellville High School in Russellville, AR. After high school, Carter enrolled in Central Baptist College where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Bible with Emphasis in Missions. He furthered his education by earning a Master of Arts degree in Theological Studies from the BMA Theological Seminary and a Master of Divinity degree in Church Ministry from Liberty Baptist Seminary. Due to the amount of marriage counseling Carter was doing as a Chaplain in the Arkansas Army National Guard, he enrolled in Liberty University and earned a Master of Arts degree in Human Services with a Marriage and Family Specialization.
Carter has served as pastor of 3 other churches and as youth pastor of 2 churches. He also served almost 10 years as a Chaplain in the Arkansas Army National Guard, with deployments to Kosovo and Guatemala.
Carter married Kristen in 2002, and they have 3 children: Gabriel, Caleb, and Ethan.
The Pearce family moved to Carroll County in 2012 when Carter became the first full-time chaplain for the Tyson Foods Complex in Berryville and Green Forest. Carter now serves as the Training Specialist for the Tyson plant in Berryville.
Carter is bi-lingual, speaking English and Spanish and has a true passion for reaching people with the gospel of Jesus Christ.,
